The spring season is full of HOPE all around you - you just have to embrace it.
About three weeks ago, I saw these beautiful flowers at a park. I was so enthralled by their beauty and how full of life they were. About a week later, I go back to that same park and the flowers were dead. They bloomed and died. Now their cycle will start over again. I was in shock with how quickly they were there blooming and full of life, then to be dead the next week. The more I thought about it, the more I discovered how truly beautiful these flowers are.
What if those flowers decided they didn’t want to bloom because they knew they would die soon after? Their authentic beauty that puts a smile on someones face would be gone. Then the bees that depend on that flower wouldn't be able to get pollen. Their week of blooming impacts the world for the better. The flowers still bloom even though they know it is not going to last forever.
As I was thinking about the beauty of spring time and evolvement, I rediscovered a quote by Rupi Kaur, author of “Milk and Honey.”
"it is a part of the
human experience to feel pain
do not be afraid
open yourself to it
- evolving"
Spring is a wonderful reminder of how we all evolve and change in life. Sometimes these changes and evolvements are beautiful and other times they're dark, but we shouldn’t push away the beauty of our evolvement for the fear of what might happen after.
Jenna McDougall of Tonight Alive had some true words of inspiration on facing your fears and being authentic in who you're when she posted her first Instagram story on April 24.
“I realize that my life mission is just to combat the things that scare me,” said Jenna.
She also went on to say that she has realized she has been protecting herself for a really long time from the things that make her nervous.
“I’m just trying to keep it as real as possible because I feel like the more I put that out, the more it’s gonna come back,” said Jenna.
The more we tell ourselves something the more it becomes our reality. The more we hold onto our fears, the more we hold back our own ability to bloom.
Spring also teaches us to be willing to let go. The flowers willing release their beauty knowing that it will come back again.
“Stop holding on to things that don't need held on to,” said Nathan Allen Pirtle, Founder/CEO of Work With The Coach in a video he posted via Twitter on April 24.
The end of April and beginning of May is the perfect time to release/face your pain/fears and evolve into yourself.
Let this season change you. Become who you’re. Your blooming has always been inside you. Don't hold it back - let it out.
With Hope,
Samantha
